Show forty white cards with all different printed shapes
Shuffle, and place them face down on the table.
You ask a spectator to cut off a portion of the deck, look at the shape he cut to and remember it.
Next, ask him to hold onto the cards he has and shuffle them, mixing his choice in among them.
Once the cards are shuffled they are returned to the table.
You now ask another spectator to take the other half of the deck and put it in his pocket.
All these actions are made with your back turned.
Now you turn and explain that you will show the cards one by one to the spectator. When he sees his chosen card he has to think "This is my shape!", but without giving away any signals to you.
You do this, whilst your spectator keeps his 'poker' face.
Finally, you take a pad and marker pen and draw a shape.
You reveal the drawing to be the chosen shape.
