There are 3 ropes hanging from it
You can have any items you like hanging from the ropes (colored balls, silks, or any theme item). Let's say you choose coloured balls; two black, one red.
You say you'll make the odd ball jump from one end to the other
You put the rod behind your back for a second or two... You then show the odd ball has jumped to the other side. From the left to the right.
The audience is convinced that you have just turned the bar around behind your back...
You say you'll repeat the trick... This time the red ball jumps to the opposite end again, back where it started!
Unconvinced your audience will soon tell you that you're cheating and simply turning the bar around!
Then all of a sudden the odd ball jumps to the middle, leaving them totally gobsmacked!
Use this with silks, a toy monkey, pumpkins or skulls for hallow'een, love hearts for valentines, baubles for Christmas... you name it!
