You tell a story about how to catch a ghost.
You slowly fold the hanky, make as if to catch a ghost in your hand, lift one corner of the square, and toss him into the handkerchief.
For those who don't believe in ghosts, you offer to prove that the ghost really does exist.
To the amazement of your onlookers, the ghost begins to move - the centre of the handkerchief rises and falls uncannily.
Finally on your command, the ghost stops moving, disappears and the handkerchief is shown free of any attachments, folded up and placed in the pocket.
